What to Expect on your First Visit
Thank you for considering Southern Environmental Medicine Center and Susan Tanner, M.D. to meet your medical needs. Dr. Tanner and her staff are committed to providing you with the best possible professional and compassionate care.
New Patients can expect to spend anywhere from 90 - 120 minutes in our office for your appointment to review your history, medical records and to perform a physical exam, in addition to any labs that may need to be done. She will review your current supplements, medications and diet. For the most favorable treatment plan to be formulated, it is important that all history information be available during the visit. Dr. Tanner will build an in depth understanding of how to best treat you, which requires taking time to listen and investigate you illness.
On your first appointment with Dr. Tanner, please bring completed new patient forms with you to the office. It will take about an hour to accurately complete this packet and should be done when you are at home and not pressed for time. Understand that if new patient paperwork is incomplete when you arrive, we may ask that you reschedule your office visit in order to best serve all of our patients.
